Tips for Finding Organizations

In your local area, there are many church, school, and community organizations that you can reach out to in order to find a group interested in fundraising with Avon.

In 2019, we now have the ability to run an online fundraiser and it is easier than ever to find an organization because they do not have to be local to you.

Start by reaching out to friends, family, and current Avon customers and asking if they know an organization that could use more funds. Offer them an Avon Fundraiser as an option.

You can also run a fundraiser for organizations that you are passionate about and a part of yourself.

Tips for Running the Fundraiser

Once you have an organization that has booked a fundraiser it is important that you work with the organization to make sure they have all options available to them. The easiest way to run a fundraiser is to setup a fundraiser for your online store and have the organization and participants share the fundraiser link. If you are using one of the fundraising flyers, make sure the organization has enough copies of the flyer they selected for each participant so the organization has the most chance at getting orders. Suggest that each participant reach out to 10 people and share the flyers and/or fundraising link to build orders. I also suggest if you do have a flyer fundraiser going to setup a fundraising link as well so that it opens up more possibilities for the fundraiser.

Mission Statement: My mission is to empower others to be their best selves both by serving customers to find products that make them feel beautiful inside and out and through mentoring other Avon Representatives both on and off my team to success in their own businesses.

2018-I reached President’s Club sales level ($10000 in sales for 2018) and I earned several incentives to do with increasing my sales throughout the year.

2015-Spirit of Avon Award for sharing helpful tips with all representatives and showing the true spirit of Avon.

A little more about me: I was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia and still live locally. I have my Masters in Teaching for Early and Elementary Education and I am an early childhood educator. I have been teaching since 2012. I joined Avon in August 2011 in order to earn an income around going to college full time. When I first joined Avon, I had no idea what I was getting myself into and I had never heard of direct sales. My mother had actually been an Avon Representative briefly before I was born and she shared some about the company with me and said that I should go for it! I met with my mentor and she signed me up and the rest is history! Over the last several years, Avon has become a major passion of mine and I have enjoyed being able to share Avon and it’s products and missions with those around me.In 2013, I took an interest in expanding my online Avon business and since then I have been blogging and growing my Social Media presence. In 2018, I was honored by Avon to participate in three pilot programs to do with growing my sales online because of my growth in online sales. In 2018, I doubled my online sales over my 2017 online sales. Avon is truly loved by many and when you start sharing that online you can really see the love and support from others worldwide. Even though we can only serve customers in the United States and share the Avon opportunity with those in the USA, worldwide followers will find you on Social Media and the web.  In 2015, I was awarded the Spirit of Avon award and I earned the coveted President’s Club sales level and my first Mrs. P.F.E. Albee figurine. Mrs. P.F.E. Albee was the first Avon Lady back when David McConnell (Avon’s founder) had the California Perfume Company (which later became Avon Products). In 2016, Avon Products North America was bought out and thus New Avon, LLC was born. I have been super excited for the new changes of New Avon, LLC! My goals in 2019 are to continue to grow my online presence, maintain President’s Club sales level and increase my sales over 2018, and add more people to my team A-Mazing Reps by helping others to start their own Avon businesses and build those businesses to be successful and help them reach their goals. I do not have a family yet, but my hope is that when I decide to start one I can use Avon as a source of income in order to stay at home with my children when they are small like my mom stayed home with me and my brother until we both were in school.
