How does Selling Avon Work?

As an Avon Representative, you share Avon with others and make money based off of your sales and bringing on new team members to build a team of representatives. You can Sell Avon with face to face methods and/or online. Most representatives do a combination of both efforts. Customers will either order through you or through your personal online store. Can you Sell Avon Online Only? Yes, you can! You will be provided with a free representative online store and many representatives are starting to sign up and Sell Avon Online Only using their online store. Avon is providing more and more tools and training to help your online marketing as an Avon Representative. When you bring on team members each representative is an Independent Avon Representative and you become their mentor to help lead them to success in their own business. You are not the boss of your team members, they are simply on your team and you work together as a team to support each other and each other’s dreams and goals. Do I have to bring on new team members to make money? Absolutely not! Many representatives have found success based on sales alone. How much does it cost to Sell Avon?

The sign-up fee to Become an Avon Representative Online is as low as $25 as of this blog post. As of August 2017, you have three starter kits to choose from. The basic kit is $25. Then there is a $50 kit and a $100 kit. You can be successful no matter which kit you choose to start with. The main difference between the kits is that the $100 kit comes with a special bag as well as more full size products. You choose how much you want to pay upfront. Once you sign-up you will be provided a free online representative store to Sell Avon Online, however you will be expected to pay for your brochures and sales tools. If you choose to place representative orders, you will have a shipping cost for each personal order (current shipping costs range from $6-$19 depending on order size and if your order is on time). Brochures start at $6.49 for a pack of 10 brochures but the more brochures you get the less each individual brochure costs. We release new brochures every two weeks. Your business costs can be recouped with your commissions from your sales. Our company still has minimal costs when compared to other direct sales companies. There is no inventory required to be an Avon Representative and you really only need to get samples when customers request specific samples to try if they are available.

Your sales commissions are based on your order size. About Amanda Davis – My Avon Story

I was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia and still live locally. I have my Masters in Teaching for Early and Elementary Education and I am an early childhood teacher. I joined Avon in August 2011 in order to earn an income around going to college full time. When I first joined Avon, I had no idea what I was getting myself into and I had never heard of direct sales. My mother had actually been an Avon Representative briefly before I was born and she shared some about the company with me and said that I should go for it! I met with my upline sales leader and she signed me up and the rest is history! Over the last several years, Avon has become a major passion of mine and I have enjoyed being able to share Avon and it’s products and missions with those around me.In 2013, I took an interest in expanding my online Avon business and since then I have been blogging and growing my Social Media presence. Avon is truly loved by many and when you start sharing that online you can really see the love and support from others worldwide. Even though we can only serve customers in the United States and share the Avon opportunity with those in the USA, worldwide followers will find you on Social Media and the web.  In 2014, I was awarded the Spirit of Avon award and I earned the coveted President’s Club sales level and my first Mrs. P.F.E. Albee figurine. Mrs. P.F.E. Albee was the first Avon Lady back when David McConnell (Avon’s founder) had the California Perfume Company (which later became Avon Products). In 2016, Avon Products North America was bought out and thus New Avon, LLC was born. I have been super excited for the new changes of New Avon, LLC! I do not have a family yet, but my hope is that when I decide to start one I can use Avon as a source of income in order to stay at home with my children when they are small like my mom stayed home with me and my brother until we both were in school.
